Who We Are

Local heroes doing God's work in Nepal's remote villages

Child Development Nepal is a dedicated Christian team of Nepali believers who live and serve in their local home communities.

With God’s help we focus on the physical, spiritual, educational and emotional needs of the amazing children in our care.

Many of these children would end up forgotten, overlooked and victimized if not for Child Development Nepal. Our Biblical motivation comes from a striking account of interaction between little curious children and Jesus.

In this account found in Luke 18, Jesus’ disciples did not want him to be bothered by insignificant children. Jesus however demonstrated quite the opposite and clearly taught how very important children are to him –and how all seemingly insignificant persons are especially honored and loved by him (also in Matthew 19 & Mark 10).
